Peace Studies Writing Contest
The Irene and Doug Schmeiser Centre for Faith, Reason, Peace, and Justice seeks to support students enrolled in CPSJ 112 (Introduction to Peace Studies, formally INTS 112) or CPSJ 310 (Peace Theory and Praxis).
One scholarship will go to an incoming student intending to enroll at USask, and one scholarship will go to a current USask student who has either taken INTS 112 or intends to take CPST 112 or CPSJ 310.
Eligibility
Any person intending to begin their studies at the University of Saskatchewan in the fall and any current USask undergraduate student in any program who has either taken INTS 112 or is planning to take CPSJ 112 or CPSJ 310 of the courses next year. Funds will be released pending enrolment in CPSJ 112 or CPSJ 310. In the event a winner chooses not to take one of these two courses in the academic year or has not done so already, the scholarship will be awarded to a runner-up.
