A Journey into Exile will enable participants to gain first-hand experience with the challenges and hopes of refugees seeking safety, security, and a better life in a new country. The exercise opens spaces to better understand refugees’ lived experience, allowing non-refugees become more welcoming and better able to stand in solidarity with forced migrants.
This event is operated by the Jesuit Refugee Services and hosted by the Irene and Doug Schmeiser Centre for Faith, Reason, Peace, and Justice in partnership with St. Andrew’s College and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon.
